Nexo demo privacy notice
Last updated October 21, 2026
Nexo by Zuzora is a real-estate assistant demonstration at nexo.zuzora.com. The brokerage clients, listings, commissions and appointments are fictional. Messages that a registered participant sends to Nexo through WhatsApp are real and may contain personal information.
Use example information when testing. Please do not send real client records, passwords, payment details or other sensitive material.
Information the demo uses
- Your registered WhatsApp number and assigned demo role, so Nexo can recognize you and restrict answers to the appropriate agency or realtor view.
- Messages you send, voice-note transcripts, Nexo’s replies and pending appointment requests, to answer questions and keep the demo conversation consistent.
- WhatsApp message and uploaded audio identifiers, with delivery status, to prevent duplicate replies and recover from rejected requests.
- Browser storage for fictional drafts, simulated sends, calendar changes and other local demo preferences. Web chat uses session storage for its conversation, and sends questions with relevant demo context to the AI service.
Voice notes and service providers
Meta delivers WhatsApp messages and provides the voice-note download. Nexo processes audio in memory and does not save the audio file to its database. Incoming audio is sent through Vercel AI Gateway to OpenAI for transcription; text and the relevant fictional workspace are sent to OpenAI for AI answers. For a spoken reply, Nexo sends the answer text through the same Gateway to OpenAI for speech generation, then uploads the generated audio to Meta to deliver a playable WhatsApp reply. Nexo stores the reply text and Meta media identifier, not the audio bytes. Vercel hosts the application, and Neon stores the server conversation state and delivery records. The dashboard also requests fonts from Google Fonts and illustrative images from Unsplash. These providers operate their own services and may process technical logs under their terms and privacy policies.
Nexo’s server identifies a conversation with a keyed hash derived from the participant’s number. The registered phone number is also held in protected server configuration and is provided to Meta when sending a reply. A keyed hash is pseudonymous, not anonymous.
What appears in the public demo
The public website can show changes to the fictional shared appointment schedule. Its calendar endpoint does not expose WhatsApp numbers, participant transcripts or Nexo’s private replies. Emails and attendee acceptance shown in the calendar are simulations. The Agency/Realtor switch on the public website is a demonstration control; WhatsApp roles are assigned separately on the server.
Retention and control
Nexo keeps a bounded recent chat history. Conversation context is cleared when a participant returns after 24 hours of inactivity. Inactive sessions without a pending request are removed during later message processing after seven days. Pending requests and delivery records can remain until they are resolved or removed by the operator; the demo does not guarantee a scheduled deletion date for all records.
You can request removal of your registration, conversation state and saved delivery records. Completed, fictional schedule changes may remain after the participant information is removed. Meta documents that uploaded media remains for 30 days unless deleted. Removing Nexo’s database records does not delete that uploaded media or copies in WhatsApp conversations. Other provider-managed logs and backups follow the relevant provider’s retention practices. Clearing your browser or resetting the website demo does not delete server-side WhatsApp records or messages in your own WhatsApp account.
